Our Mission

Lakeland Local Art Loan (LLAL) will connect artists, businesses, and the local community in an effort to support and sustain local Lakeland artists by enabling them to receive 100% of the sale and 0% of the costs.

Application

  1. Artists will offer to loan their art to LLAL to be displayed at a location of business 

  2. The artist will receive a $100 stipend per exhibition venue

  3. $295 will go to LLAL to cover the cost of installation

  4. If the piece is sold, the artist will receive the total revenue from the sale. 

  1. If a business decides to rent from us, they can choose a piece from our extensize catalog 

  2. The business will purchase the art loan from Platform Art for $395 per piece; in return, the business will receive a tax write-off

  3. $295 will go to the LLAL to cover costs of installment by a professional in the place of business and $100 stipend will go the artist

  4. A business can rent a maximum of 5 pieces at a time
